    boxcarwillie-

    Welcome To TrainBoard!

I'd love to see more chatter about the C&NW. And it's predecessor companies.

I'm not a big C&NW fan, but I thought the "cowboy line" was pretty neat! :teeth: Especially the way it just ends in the middle of nowhere. Anyone have any pics?

There is/was a video on it. Taken in it's last few years of operations. The track had been receiving absolutely zero maintenance. So trains took days out and back. It was really "rock-n-roll" territory.

Just talked to my friend who had the video. Turns out he has two on that line:

"The Cowboy Line" (Backtrack Video-Denver. 60 min.)

"Chicago & North Western- The Cowboy Lines Volume 2- Remembering The Cowboy." Vision Productions 1999. 90 min.)

I've seen the first one. But not the second.
