By accident, I used the "copy" command button instead of the "re-assign" button while trying to move some images into separate albums. Now I have two album entries for the same image in the same album. Is there a way I can remove one of the album entries without deleting the image??
You can copy another, different image over the duplicate image. Would that help your situation? It's one of the upload options in "edit photo."
Thanks Flash It was quite painful (ie slow) but I made another album to act as a wastebasket, re-assigned the duplicate entries to that album, and then simply deleted the unwanted album. Thankfully the image files were not deleted since they still have an entry in another album. I'll have to be much more careful in the future about placing images into albums when I first upload them!
Sorry you had to go through all that. BTW, moving a picture to another album breaks the link you may have if you used that picture in a thread. If you "copy" or upload a picture over another, the new picture will replace the one in the thread that was previously using that link.
