People seem to beating (a) dead horse(s) here. Perhaps the staff would consider closing this thread? This one has reached the point where rehash and insults have taken over. Joe needs specific ideas...not complaints, whining, and other "CRAP". This is going nowhere as usual. Steve Ervin
In the early days of N MTL (nee Kadee) was the only game in town for quality rolling stock. Fast forward to today - MTL is now in a small crowd of quality rolling stock manufacturers. Although MT has made some major goof-ups with respect to my favorite road (bad artwork, wrong classes, wrong color etc), in recent times I've seen them making a real effort to raise the bar in some areas. I view the new heavyweight cars as a prime example of this (all new trucks with a first for MT/Kadee - 36" wheels!). I'm looking forward to seeing the Pullman sleepers and the rest of the HW line. I sincerely hope that MT can figure out a way to get these out in as many paint schemes as possible in a relatively reasonable time span. Mark
I have just looked at the new RPO and i think it looks great. I could not tell the mail hook was molded on and at the MSRP, well i think it will make a great addition to my fleet. Why all the bashing? I don't get it. If you don't like it, don't buy it. Pretty simple eh. Dave
Conversations can be constructive, or destructive. This one has drifted into the latter option. If you dislike what a manufacturer is doing, it's your choice to not patronize their business. Contrary to that, if you do enjoy their products, please buy and thus support them. If you've thoughts or concerns, by all means discuss them; in a genteel, thoughtful, meaningful fashion. That is our best means for working toward getting the items of our dreams. But let's leave the negative language completely out of these exchanges, as such words sink us into quicksand every single time- And will NEVER bring to fruition what you desire. Although it is OK to do so here, it's probably best to address any specific company directly. Sometimes they'll listen, sometimes they do not. That's just the way business has always been on this planet. Boxcab E50
