I received several MT undecorated cars and took them completely apart for the painting, including removal of the Peacock vertical brake wheels. For me, this was a mistake. Taying to reattach the wheels, I launched five and had to order a package of replacements.

I am having a terrible problem. I can not get them to snap into the model. I have made sure the original holes were not clogged and have even cut off the extreme bottom part so that it does not get blocked by the top of the platform. Tweezers are not good, saliva is not good for getting it into position. I even cut off most of the tip (eye) of a few needles, shoved them into wine bottle corks and used them as crude tools so they could grasp around the wheel, also to no avail.

Are there any special or really tiny tools (or methods) that are used by our members, or are you all smart enough not to take off the wheels in the first place?

    Watash- HELP !!!!!

There are two tiny bosses that fit into holes in the car end above the brake platform. I usually hold the brake wheel and shaft part in place with a fine pointed tweezer and use my thumbnail to push the bosses into the holes.

Remember, fingers were around long before tools!
