I have recently acquired a DI/GHQ 53'6" flatbed that has dummy knuckles couplers on the trucks. MT's website has no info on these units, so what would be the recommended truck for this flatcar?
The last flatcar I received had MTL #1000-1 trucks. The ones before had Atlas+Accumates. There is a little problem with the MTL trip pin and the car body, so I converted all my DI/GHQ flat cars to Atlas Bettendorf trucks with Accumates. The longer couplers work well for this car.
