I cant speak for the modern modellers out there, but I would like to see a readily available GP-7-9-18 etc... Also readily available GE U-boats such as the U-25-b. I realize Proto 2000 and Stewart produced these but on a limited basis. Athearns GE's and GP-7 have hoods that are too wide. The GP-7 and 9 were two of the most popular models of all time but are scarce on the HO market.

MP15 in regular and AC versions.....and BTW, BNSF_9999, you won't have to wait much longer for an SD60....the P2k one should be out in a few months.

Ooh I know I said locomotives but ANYTHING you want in Plastic list it here.I changed my mind because I remembered something else I wanted.I want an Amtrak California Cab Car I know Overland makes them but the budget for a 15 year old is not that large. If you have no idea what a Amtrak California Cab Car is I can e-mail you a pic. How about Some of these?:
    C32-8 [IMG]
B30-7 (both A and AB Units)
add all the OLD Athearn Units, especially the U25, U28 and U30.
While we are at it, how about a re-release of the Atlas C30-7, and U33C/U36C?? [IMG]
    As for modern:
SD70MAC (not for me!! [IMG] )
    AC60CW
    SD90MAC (also not for me!!)

Interwest your not a fan of modern power or something???
True a SD90AC is needed but the shell is allready made by RPP but is a pain to relocate the headlight locations but that is fun to do to me. [IMG]

I personally would like to see Athearn come out with all scale-width-hood diesels.
Since I model no newer than November 1980
(the BN-SLSF merger), I can get most of the
diesels I need in the marketplace for my Frisco roster. I would like to see a B30-7
come out (hey RPP, are you listening?), as
    well as a RTR SD38-2.

    StickyMonk,

I agree with the C636. I am currently trying to build a cast-resin kit of a CN MLW M636 made by Associated Model Makers of Ontario to resemble one of the Burlington Northern C636's. I have had to do a LOT of re-engineering to this kit, as it doesn't even come with wheels. There is no provision for mounting the trucks, and there is no rigidity to the thing at all. I had a friend of mine cut a steel plate the same size as the walkway piece so the frame doesn't flex under pressure. It will be a while before it is painted and ready for operation, but I'll try to remember and post a photo or two when it makes its maiden voyage.

I agree with Sticky Monk. SP&S had a bunch of C636s, yet the only models I've ever seen are overpriced Overland brass models. Hurry up, Stewart! [IMG]

Actually, I have mostly modern Power, but as an all-GE road, most of the modern GE's have already been made by Athearn (C44/AC44/P42).
I also have some "older" power, chiefly C30-7/U33C/U36C, but need the C32-8 shells as IWRS took over Conrail about 18 months ago, and we mostly use them on the Western end of the line.
The real loco and cars I am waiting on are the F59PHI (just gonna switch out the truck sideframes to GE FB2 [IMG] ), California Cars (Brass WAY WAY outta my budget [IMG] ), and the Bombardier Cars (Christmas, maybe Athearn?? [IMG] ).

(Is it just me or did everyone just take over conrail [IMG] )
    I could use a good SD50 (Athearn)

Speaking of the F59PHI. The July Model Railroader (page 42) reports that Athearn will produce this locomotive in plastic. Models will be decorated in Amtrak California, Amtrak Northwest, Amtrak West, and various commuter railroads. Sheesh!!! Are there Athearn Superliners in the future as well???

    Athearn Superliners????? [IMG]
I can see Athearn possible making the California Cars, unless Walthers beats them to the punch bowl.
As for Walthers, they already make the Superliner II series in Phase IV, and has just announced the Superliner I series in both Phase II and III paint.
Also, their P32-8 will be released in Amtrak Phase IV (aka Intercity). DOUBLE [IMG]
Personally, the "Pepsi Can" paint is MUCH BETTER than the Phase IV. [IMG]

as for the california cars and talgos I think athearn is coming out with them
    Units I want to see.
    SD50
C32-8/C39-8 (your not the only one who wants one interwest)
SD45-2/38-2 (Athearn could do one using the SD40-2 chassis)
SD40/39/38 (all done on a athearn SD45 chassis)
SD80/9043/90MAC/H/HII (maybe I am asking to much with all the variables)
    SD70MAC (athearn)
    C30-7/C36-7
    B30-7/B36-7
    C40-8/W that actually runs

heck all the extra shells could be done by someone other than Athearn and use athearn chassis and be ready to run (anyone remeber the old old old Walthers E60CH. Walthers shell modifyed athearn chassis).

Ok.....my ultimate wish list for good-quality HO locomotives:

    1. MP15 (DC and AC versions)
    2. SD45T-2
    3. B30-7/B36-7
    4. B23-7/B30-7A (the RPP shell needs a TON of work to make it accurate)
    5. SD40 and SD45 (ones that are affordable and available year-round, unlike the K-company....Athearn, are you listening?? [IMG] )
    6. SD35
    7. C40-8 (the Bachmann one isn't all that great IMHO)

I'd also like to see SD39's and SD38-2's, but since they are such low production models, I doubt we'll see one mass produced soon....kitbashing them isn't all that hard, or maybe someone like RPP would step in and make a shell for them. Overall though, I think the hobby is going through a great time period....just look at all the great models that are being released!
