New Progressive Rail pictures and videos I shot today. Most of the footage was shot adjacent to the Zigler CAT dealership which you can see quite a bit in the background. The video files are a bit large, but they are lengthy clips and worth the download IMO. You'll have to suffer a little download pain if you want to watch the videos. Very interesting. I looked at all the pictures, but only had time to watch one video clip. Will come back to see some more. Great shots of an interesting operation
Yes. Here: http://www.boche.net/trains/progressive_rail_5-3-03/ And here: http://www.boche.net/trains/progressive_rail_5-23-03/tour.htm
You've been busy covering this line- I'm impressed. Quite a bit of homework for a future model RR, IMO. Any plans of modeling one of Progressive's switchers?
Yes. I just bought an UNDEC SW1500 off Ebay. Talley Railroad Models is going to paint it and detail it to the max. It should look identical to the prototype when we're all done. I'm excited. Might do the MN&S #102 caboose too. Jas [ 24. July 2003, 19:48: Message edited by: jasonboche ]
I knew that MR did a trackplan based on Progressive Rail's operations. With a couple SW1500s and that caboose, in HO scale you could have a nice little (or big) layout. Any plans in that direction?
Jason, I just went back and took a look at the pictures of your ride on the SW1500. Absolutely superb You are one lucky railfan
