Great photos Kevin and a great job by your group! Can you give us a date on when you expect to fire her up yet? CT
Kevin, that's GREAT! Thanks for sending the news. Now you have the real big challenge, getting that loco back to running. We sure wish you the best. :teeth:
Hi all, another set of photos are up and the work time line we used for the reassembly. the same link will get you there... all the photos are by the inside photographers. Regards, Kevin http://www.nmslrhs.org/pages/photos3.htm
Kevin, what an awesome job you guys are doing!!! It will be so nice to have a 2900 in good order (unlike the slowly decaying shadow in Sacramento) - they were the true kings of Santa Fe steam!
Kevin, I am so looking forward, should I live long enough, to see this engine steamed up once again. I think I asked before, is Karl Rethwisch, of the Pueblo 2912, associated with you guys at all? He was intent on getting the 2912 running, but I guess the group ran out of money and interest. :tb-sad:
I'm not really sure, It was before my time. We have had assistance from the Pueblo folks though. The state centennial is in 2012, it would be great to have a museum train run all over the state to celebrate! Kevin
