I don't have one. Well I have one, but it needs rehab it hasn't run in 15 years at least. Last time I hooked it up there was no power. I am thinking about doing something for the kids. Especially since it causes them no end of angst that Dad's big layout is under construction and not working at this time. I am working on it I tell them. It will be a while. So an hour later, is it running yet? I need a stop gap measure... Just curious to see if any of ya'll have a not so serious O christmas layout or even a simple layout to entertain young'ens.
Sometime over the next few weeks I'll be getting my original O-scale train set (the actual one I had as a Christmas layout when I was about 4 years old) back from my drummer (I had it stored at his place a long time ago and had completely forgotten about it). Not sure if I'll have it as a Christmas layout (space considerations) but might set it up around Christmas time somewhere else in the house. I haven't run these in over 20 years so I'll have to clean them up and check out the motors first so I don't set anything on fire.
