From the Watco group in Yahoo, this bit of news on the Mission Mountain in NW Montana. It may already be gone, but heads up Hemi & Boxcab! Grain Train on MMR from the "Wish I Had My Camera" Dept.: Saturday (March 4) morning on the way to work, Mission Mtn RR ran a short grain train from Kalispell to Columbia Falls. Power was PCC #2357 and HLCX 1201. After arriving at C-Falls, the power was cut off. The train was parked just south of the US2 crossing. When I left work at 4pm, the train was still there. Mark
One quickie correction. It's HLCX 1012. Not 1201. Those two units seem to be their common power these days. The problem with chasing MMR, is they often run in the evening. So light for photos isn't there as yet. Maybe this summer. Even days have been fairly gray lately. So, who is "Mark?" He obviously lives here in the Valley. Somewhere..... Does he model RR? Ever stop into Wheaton's? (Our local hobby shop.) Is he the one who posted on the MRL Group, about chasing their semaphores the last day? Boxcab E50
