I have been working on making this retorfit go easier, and look a bit better than the first rev. The problem is where the screw for the Marklin tank gets attached to the frame cannot be the mounting point for the MTL trucks, so I moved them as close as I can get, and this is what I came up with: Add these frames... to this tank car... and get this tank car: The cars now sit a bit lower than the original:
Looks great! I really like the side by side comparasion. The marklin trucks and wheels look HUGE!!!!! compared to the MT ones. What a difference!
