The citation was from eBay Canada-- so I think the shipping would be to Canada for $33.95, not within the USA. I know international postage has taken a huge jump since last year.

The CP open hopper in question used to sell in collector circles for hundreds of dollars more than the seller's asking price. It's considered one of the scarcer cars. MTL's own reprints of this car in 1998 and 2001, and the later Runner Pack in 2007, are a lot less expensive.

Mostly old Atlas and Bachmann cars (although there are a FEW MT's but no boxes for anything), more tripple dome tank cars than you can shake a stick at...and not one but TWO High Speed locomotives. $640 (or $20 a car) plus $34 shipping...

I must have missed something. Header on the evilbait listing says 340 cars. That's two bucks each, plus shipping, right?

Quick trip to Spookshows website and it's a Lima 2-6-4 Q1B tank engine (with less than stellar reviews..."another example of Lima dreck"). Engine is from the 1970's.

I received a box full of the rolling stock for Christmas this year. I looked them up on Spookshow's website. They're part of Aurora's "Red Ball Express" set, approximately N scale size, but with horn hook couplers and oversized trucks, plastic toys is a good description. The good news is, they can be converted to N scale, with some work.

Looks just like the old ConCor log car kits from the 1970s.

Thats EXACTLY what it is Ken! I have seen these advertised on Evilbay before and the guy stated that these were made from the old Con Cor molds.
