 Though I'll bet there's a guy in Somalia at an internet cafe that would gladly accept @BNSF FAN 's credit card number to provide shipment. Why, last week I won a new "Millwaukey Drill" via a random internet e-mail. I'm still waiting for it. Must be a slight shipment delay .....

There was a rip in the time/space continuum, allowing "High Speed", a manufacturer from the galaxy "Cheapo Junk", to slip in and sell some of their garbage pail rejects as real to Earthlings- who are the worst suckers known in all of the Universe.

Sounds like the Ferengi, focused on the acquisition of profit as the highest goal. Here they are, looking to foist a ship full of High Speed trains upon unsuspecting crewmembers of Enterprise. :D

Hardcoaler beat me to it! (And by just six minutes, I see!) My first thought was the Ferengi as well!

BTW Star Trek fans, if you have not had the opportunity to stream Lower Decks, it's a hoot. Faithful to the ST canon with more "easter eggs" than there are posts on this thread!

I just had a BAD flashback... to hearing the "Feliz Navidad" 45 in Spanish class in High School... 14 consecutive times...

BTW, did you know that "Smork" is "More Safer"?

    (Bonus: Seller has zero feedback.)

I know this is the N Scale board, but since I dabble in 1:220, I think once in a while we should give the Z Scale listings some "love." This will do...
MSRP for this is $9.00. MTL Z Scale track is mostly listed on their website as "Temporarily Unavailable," so I guess this seller felt entitled to a "small" markup...

I got a big laugh from the part about adding water for smoke. I can see nice big messes and equipment that fails quickly, as a child "adds" more water....

If the smork—ahem, smoke—works on the same principle as an ultrasonic humidifier, it might actually be interesting. A water-based system certainly can't be any messier and smellier than the Lionel smoke oil I used to fill my parents' house with stinky fumes and oily fingerprints back in the day!

:) For sure, the scent of Lionel smoke instantly transports me back to earlier days. Good times for sure.

Just an alert that the price on this, um, body shell has been cut from $14.99 to $14.10, plus shipping. "May have defects." o_O

I'm gonna have to jump right on that deal.

On the other hand, I'll sit back down.

All the more remarkable when the first page of an internet search for that MTL item number shows a dealer with that item on sale (and apparently in stock) for more than $30 less.

I still smile at the notion that when we click eBay links here, Sellers get excited, thinking there's growing interest in their items. The reality is quite different, a free comedy show for all. :)
