I would like to block that bidder. Can you give us a hint without mentioning the buyer? For instance, what is your E Bay ID? I am pretty quick to block "problem" bidders. I don't need the aggravation.
That was actually a stated goal a few years ago... move to fixed price stores. How's that working out, eBay? My "ignore list" search excludes all fixed price listings... auctions with Buy It Now are still in, unless you're one of my 'unpreferred' sellers...
Very true. I remember that being posted by them. Cheaper to do your own web site, if actually wanting a store scenario.
Thought this was interesting. http://www.ebay.com/itm/cotton-belt...439003?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item20c8c7029b The sad part is that this person is supposed to be a professional Custom Painter. His kit-bashing could use a little work though. If I had built that, 1) I wouldn't want anyone to know, 2) I wouldn't be asking that much for it, and 3) I'd try to use a description that makes some sense.
This is the same guy that is making resin knockoffs of the JNJ Wagontop caboose. He is at best dishonest. The owner of JNJ tried to contact him about the plagiarism but with him selling the company, he opted not to pursue it.
Custom painted by Glop? Or found with a metal detector while digging around the town garbage dump...?
I really didn't think anyone would do it. I should have known better. http://tiny.cc/d9e8hw I would rather go their site and get three of these and get free shipping. I wouldn't think that the seller would make too much after the fee's, unless two buyers really go after them. I got my Popcorn and soda ready for these just in case!
I'm having an issue with some one right now. Saying item received not as described. "In the description doesn't say n-scale" but I only listed the item in n-scale. The bidder had the Item 4 days before he sends me an email about this. So for him not paying attention to the top of the page of the listing he want's me to give him a full refund plus pay for his shipping to send it back to me, for bidding on the wrong item. Doesn't ebay have a policy about this?????
They sure do, it's called the bidder is always right! LOL Actually it's a little bit of both's fault, they for not reading or asking questions, you for not saying it's N Scale in big bold letters! The best you can hope for is that you give him a full refund and that they should have to shell out for the return shipping. That is the normal way of doing it. If the guy opens a case, Ebay will give the money back and then take it from your account after you receive the item. But they shouldn't take any for return shipping. There is no way that he should be able to hold you over a barrel for return shipping. If the bidder slaps you with a neg, contact eBay and explain to them, they might be able to remove the neg. But no guarantees. Make sure you have and keep copies of all emails between the two of you as they will look them over if they need to make a decision.
Shocked I just got of the phone with eBay and because I had it in the right category I'm ok. I don't have to issues a refund. Quote" He should have checked the category before bidding." For once I'm happy with ebay...LOL
Yep your right, come to think of it, it would be cheaper as long as they ship outside of the US. Which they don't.
Sweet! You almost have to be lawyer anymore and make sure you have everything covered in your description!
I would except after explaining the policy I was told from customer service he went and filed a claim anyway.
From what they said of it being in the right catagory, sounds like the bidder doesn't have any ground to stand on...all he can hope is to turn around and sell the item and get his money back
