    This one has been here before but it's back and "SUPER RARE" (much rarer than just rare). Still doesn't say what the "factory error" is but a search showed that he previously answered that the number is 6209 and was supposed to be 6200. Of course, anyone who knows how the printing is done (pad printing, before the printer that could just print directly on the cars) knows that it is almost impossible to just change a number (unless I'm just terribly misinformed).

    I guess you "win" on number of items today...

    Not really a factory error as far as I know. (Come to think of it, I believe I said the same thing last time...)

    The 6209 is a lot harder to come by than the other two road numbers, 6200 and 6203. The 6209 was out first, in March 1975 quickly followed by the 6200 in July. (I don't have this memorized! I checked the MTL database.)

    $700 would have been in the ballpark during the peak period for Micro-Trains cars. $33.35 shipping, not so much.
