SP's train symbol "BKDOL" <Bakersfield-Delores Oil Cans> running/chugging upgrade at Bealville...before hitting the loop..and continuing east to the Los Angeles area refinery with its contents of black gold!
Interesting contrast in the third picture's tracks. The mainline is welded rail while the siding is jointed rail. I'll have to remember to do this on the model some day. [edit:typo]
Hey Flash...if you're referring to the 2nd pic at Woodford...the track tails off to the right of the camera... with a long lens...it does give the impression I am rather close trackside.
