MP MOPAC RS11 / GP16

    Did any of the RS11s get painted Jenks blue B4 the conversion to the GP16 config. With only a 2-3 year time span for that to happen, I haven't found any pics to support it. Also, does anyone have pics or diagrams of the rear and side of the GP16s or can you point me to an internet reference?

    John,I am not certain of the answer to your question.Have you contacted the Missouri Pacific Historical Society or posted this question in the fallen flags area here on trainboard? I have some back issues of The Eagle somewhere that did an entire article on these rebuilds.If I can find the date you could order a back issue from the society.Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance.
