NOTE: Please observe the QUOTES...this IS NOT technically an MRL Convention, and I'm not really seriously trying to mislead anyone here. :-D Just thought that MRL fans will be interested in this convention if they are in the area and/or able to attend. The 2013 Friends of the Burlington Northern Railroad Historical Society convention will be held June 19-22 in Missoula, Montana! More details to follow in the coming months but MARK YOUR CALENDARS.....you don't want to miss this one. Montana Rail Link is headquarted in Missoula, Montana so the MRL--with its lines rich in BN Heritage--will obviously become a big part of the convention. I feel like many BN fans are also MRL fans too (I certainly am!) so I don't think we're getting too far outside our scope there. ;-) First and foremost we just love trains, and we are a very welcoming bunch and would love to have you MRL guys join in the fun.
