    I can bet big money that Hutt built locos would be far better than the Chinese power.

    It would have been a combination of Hutt and Hillside. You may have seen some artists impressions of the proposed loco. It was imperative to have front cab doors for tunnel egress but it seems even that can be dispensed with if the price is right. It's all water under the bridge now.

    Kaiser, I can't find the name of the guy who built this DL535E in On30, but if I do I'll put it up. I think he used an Ath PA as the running gear. I know I have another pic of it painted in WP&Y yellow and green. prd_lp_142.jpg

    I have been thinking of doing something similar, but using a BLI RSD chassis as a starting point. I was also going to SPize it for my Owens Valley On30 line.

    Tad Dowdy was the name of the guy who constructed the DL535E for Craig Palmer. I believe Tad is a professional model builder. It's a nice looking engine.

    Sorry, I couldn't resist any longer. The DF200 is 3'6" gauge and still in production in Japan.
