Has anyone ever modeled with anchor cement? I am about to build bridge abutments and piers; originally, I was going to use good ol' styrene, but after seeing some results using anchor cement, I think I am going to give it a try. If anyone has ever used this method, I would like to know if it is possible to chip away at the edges to give it a more realistic look. For example, in the photo below from Lance Mindheim's website, I am wondering if he chipped the edges of the loading dock afterwards or if it just came out of the mold that way.
