Does anyone have any info. about the Austin Sub. of the Missouri Pacific (not as UP)? It'd be nice to have some 1940's-1950's info. This would mainly be New Braunfels-Austin-Taylor-Milano area.
First, a big welcome to TrainBoard! Second, what are you looking for? I've got a couple of Employee TimeTables and some other references, so if you can narrow the field a little, I may be able to help.
Off of a quick look: Milano - MilePost (MP) 110 Taylor - MP 144.8 Austin - MP 179.1 New Braunfels - MP 227.3 Business Tracks I can recognize: MP 169 - IBM MP 172.1 - Steck Paper Co MP 196.1 - Texas Cement Connections: ATSF crossing at Milano MKT crossing at MP 144.4 MKT Junction at MP 208.8 MKT crossing at MP 227.4 The entire length is specified as CTC-ABS, at least in 1982. Hope this is at least a start!
Welcome to the TrainBoard Mathew! It has been suggested we move this topic to the MO-Pac Forum for better exposure since this subject is for a particular Railroad. Please go to the Fallen Flags Forum then scroll down to the Missouri Pacific forum and continue this discussion there. Thanks, enjoy! We will leave this topic here until everyone finds where it has moved to
Thanks for the assist, bro. Now, does anyone here have dated info? Unfortunately, my interests (and therefore my references) are quite a bit after the time period Matthew is looking for.
