I now have castings for a Milwaukee Road 1947 Coach with the Waukesha air conditioning system. These cars were originally numbered 515-551 and had either 48 or 52 seats. Some were later converted to 40 leg rest seats and numbered in the 600 series. They were assigned all over the system. Very nice. All of them, as in they floated around the system as needed? Or particular groups here, other groups there?
Groups were built for specific trains but weren't married to that service so they would show up almost anywhere. The "600" series tended to gravitate toward long haul service ("Cities" trains and Olympian) since they had the leg rest seats.
