As some of you know already I do railroad artwork. You can see samples in "The Ready Track" section. I have decided to do a side view of the 261 like pictured in the thread in that section. I will of course be doing prints. Here is my questions. Is there an email address for the group? I found their website and nowhere could I find an email link. Just a phone number to their store and I must be calling at the wrong times as that hasn't worked. Anyway, I wanted to see if they might be interested in handling the print like I am doing for the group restoring the one in Albuquerque. I.E. help with sales and promotion of the print and get a good percentage of the profit with no out of pocket money involved on their part. That is what I want to talk to them about but am having no luck in getting through to them. Any help in pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated. Thank you.
Wow! I'd not looked at their site for a while! It's been radically changed. Is certainly not as nice as I recall. And not as informative. I don't know what to tell you. Hope someone else might know! Boxcab E50
G_C_S, I know many of the crew on the 261. The Sandberg family keeps access tough, but they are great people and keep that engine running every year. Please send me a PM and I will contact some of the crew to help you. :teeth:
They do when they are selling tickets. This is a "for profit" operation, not a museum, and they do a great job. Look at what they are selling now, they have the two Chinese QJ's set to pull their cars on excursions in the quad cities.
