The Lima baywindow caboose is a good start if you want to make a Mil ribside caboose. Because the bays can be removed, all renovations can be made without the bays obstucting the process. It then becomes easier to sand, fill and redo the windows and scribe lines to apply the ribs. I use .008 brass rod for the ribs. upper and lower skirting is Evergreen 10x60 strips. The result comes fairly close to the Mil baywindows..............

    Finished this one yesterday........

Nicely done Marty! I had no idea Lima even made that caboose.

I'll have to make one to make a matched set with my Lima Milw FP45 :teeth:

You also could purchase an JNJ ribside baywindow caboose as well. I am putting one together right now to go with my "Little Joe" when it gets here.
