Anyone know how long the MILW PS2 CD high side 13 rib 4427CF Covered Hoppers (ala Proto 2000 HO model) lasted after the Soo Line take over? I'm farly sure they lasted into the Soo Line era, just wondering where they went and when. The numbers are around the 97500 range if the P2K models are accurate.

Rob. Got photos of a pair of milw hoppers at the Burlington Wi. depot set out siding a couple of months ago they are thirteen rib though a couple were missing, unrepainted very faded orange yellow paint, Milw Rd logo, renumbered for IMRL 45097 and 45 099 respectively, will try to upload them on the album site for you to see, This was on the CNWC chicago Sub. Thanks Rick - I think there are some pictures of those on the gelwood fallen flag site http://www.rr-fallenflags.org/ and those sound like the low side version. Those were of an earlier production run and were manufactured without the 'missing' ribs. For the HO Scale modelers - that sounds like the Walthers model. BTW - IMRL has a few of those still sporting SOO LINE on the side of them
