Larry- Received an answer this morning. "It was on Douglas Ave. (Wichita's main downtown east-west street) and it was on the south side of the street just west of the Arkansas River bridge. The depot was right on the street and the freight house was west and slightly south of the depot. The yard with its small engine terminal was a block or so south of that, right along side Lawrence stadium which is still there. The depot and freight house have been gone since the urban removal of the 1960's." Hope this helps! Boxcab E50
Thanks I just got the new Mopac in Color book and it had some photos of the depot, but I couldn't spot any landmarks that I could recognize.
