We'll probably see it appear in the "more Ebay Humor" thread eventually being listed at $1000 and "RARE".

Back in the Kadee era they would have stopped shipment and destroyed any remaining cars still in inventory.
Those cars that did get shipped would instantly become ultra-rare and the collectors would be driven into a frenzy.
Then the car would be re-released correctly in about 10 years time with a different road number.

it still happened, trust me, tons of stuff got out. lol We did a caboose with the roof on backwards once and sent them out. Tried a recall and none of the dealers would send them back thinking they were sitting on a gold mine. I think that fizzled out pretty quick.

I can handle the lol but there is a difference in car size, hatches, side ribs, one vs. two unloading hopper gates and most of all cubic feet -don't you want it to be right for their price on the car..... they have been in the game long enough....

Are we just talking about a single line of numbers on the model?

I can't even see the numbers on the prototype photo, let alone the MICRO numbers on the MT car. Geez, with war, starvation, disease, and deaths that take place, THIS is the thing we are enraged about? If you don't like the car, don't BUY the car... Personally, if I needed this car (I don't, it's too modern for me) I would rather have it (with lettering that is too small for the average person to notice and the average person wouldn't even realize that the lettering might be wrong) than not have it.

...There used to be someone selling one of those wrong way cupula cabooses on EBay for an unbelievable amount but it looks like they have given up listing it anymore.
