http://www.railimages.com/gallery/album135/acr Made some substancial progress on the new tender for the MicroAce Mallet. Getting the drawbar right will be the big challenge. I re-examined the pilot again and it does appear that I should be able retro a MT pilot and pony truck to same. Now what do I do with a left over Kato caboose shell, the old 3 axle MicroAce tender, and the tender underframe and trucks from the slopeback tender. Any suggestions?
I don't know what kind of modelling you do. I would probably put the caboose up on blocks and use for a < some sort of structure >. Could the tender be used for an improvised "coal shed" for a company that has a coal furnace?
