Went to the Big-E train show last weekend. Micro-Trains had a nice little display set up with a circle of track and a SF GP-35 running. It ran really well and I was surprised at the level of detail for something so small. Did anyone else who went to the show see the new turnout that MT had on display. Did anyone find out when it will be available and what size it was?? The MT website makes no mention of these new track pieces.

They are supposed to be the same geometry as Maerklin's turnouts.

Oh! So they'll match Wright turnouts?
Are they unitrak-style, with 'molded' ballast?

They will be a #4.5 turnout... Hopefully they'll follow that with #6 and #8s somewhere down the road. The PW 4.5 looks and operates nice, but it would be good to have the larger turnouts available commercially in Z to push toward similar turnouts with the larger scales (where #6 are used in yards and #8s are most common on mainlines).

Thanks for posting the video link...

Now if MT will only make a "depressed center flat car" for Z scale. :)
