Hi friends George Menzie of MT sent this to the list this afternoon. looks like the wrong information was released about paint scheme's and this clears this up. MT will NOT be doing the Experimental ATSF scheme after all. Here's the message >>I have received a number of emails regarding the upcoming FT paint schemes and have discovered that we have distributed incorrect information in ads and news releases. For the first release, the NYC paint scheme will be the same as that shown in our July Model Railroader ad - Road Number 1600, black with white stripes and Herald. Some are calling this the Cigar Band scheme. The first ATSF is a freight scheme with herald nose , This is NOT the Experimental Paint Scheme of 1951/52 as published.
