    First the old-

Metro North has one of the very few remaining EMD F10s still in revenue service. This is number 411, which has been seen recently on the Danbury Branch.

And now two of the newest--a pair of Gennies.

The one on the left is owned by the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CDOT) and operated by Metro North.

Nice photos but I agree with Alan. I like the old better.

You have a nack for composing photos Peirce. I tried get a similar shot yesterday of the Gennies but there were a lot of children and parents awaiting the Easter Bunny! ;)

What is the heritage of this unit? I want to say it's one that came off the GM&O? Or is that another commuter RR?

    :D
