Has anyone modeled Amtrak's MofW engines? What color did you use for the orange? Also did some of them have silver on them? TIA Greg Elems
Greg, I'm sorry to reply so late, I have been searching to find an answer for you. This is a little out of my line, since my experience was steam, so before Amtrak. Perhaps If you post this question in the Antrak Forum, or the M.O.W. Forum, (or both), someone like Ten87 will have a source with the correct shade of orange. For silver paint, my guess would be that there would not be, unless Amtrak decomissioned an older line engine to M.O.W. P.S. Greg, I called Amtrak today and found out they do not know anything about their MOW equipment, AND... they had NO idea who to call to find out! (And they want ME to ride their trains?) Forget that noise!
