I am particularly interested in the Maryland and Pennsylvania as it seems to have the kind of atmosphere I want on my new model railroad. Anyone know of any videos or other online info on the Ma & Pa? Not much seems to be readily available. Unless I missed it we don't appear to have a forum in the fallen flags section here

    Alan-

The name Maryland & Pennsylvania RR is well known through the USA. Better known by the nickname "Ma & Pa."

I rather doubt there'd be enough interest to establish a FFF for it. At present it should be well covered here under the "Ghost, Regional, & Other Fallen Flags" category.

There may be at least one book in print. One of the Carsten's RMC) softcovers. I used to have a copy of one they did that had a fair amount of M&P. Also, Kalmbach did a feature of this RR in one of their "Railroads You Can Model" softcovers. And in recent years, another in either GMR or MRP.

Thanks for the info. I will have to see what I can obtain (can be difficult over here, so may have to beg someone to send me some stuff) ;)

"More Model Railroads You can Build" by Mike Schafer. Kalmbach Publications-1978. Believe this is still in print. About 8 pages. "Maryland & Pennsylvania starting p.60. A lot of b&w prototype photos.

Will try to find the other article later on.
