The lumbermill from my old layout looked a bit small in it's larger area on the new layout, so I decided to extend it a bit. The extension can be seen under construction, also the edge of a new building behind which will produce sheet materials, like particle board, plywood, etc.

The roadway and hard standing areas are not yet finished. Does anyone have suggestions on how to get realistic looking ashphalt roads, or indeed concrete areas (may have both). Roads are not black, and concrete is not grey! Any suggestions would be gratefully received [IMG]

alan if you can find some asphalt roof shingles these work well for road and drive material when turned upside down. i have used them on a farm implement dealer i have on a module of mine.

You know what would have been interesting, is if you made it a model of an add on as well... The new building could have been in frame stage, and the extended lot could have been getting graded and stuff. :) Looks good though.
