From messages on other boards, a lot is happening in the steam world. In the last few days, Canadian Pacific Hudson 2816 has made break-in runs after coming out of the BC Rails shops in Vancouver. Allegedly sharing the hogger duties is Doyle McCormack--his shop did the boiler work on 2816. SP Pacific 2472 has steamed up at Hunter's Point in San Francisco and is supposed to make an excursion run in the bay area in November. GTW 4-8-4 6325??? (sic) has been run by the Ohio Central. Here's one I need some help on. The SP Pacific 2467 has been advertised as participating in Sierra Railroad's Railfan days on Labor Day weekend, starting at Oakhurst, CA. Does anyone know how 2467 is going to get there from the Bay area?
6235 is indeed running. We will be usung her on a couple of trips in Sept and Oct for the Ohio Railway Museum. Cant waite to see some big steam action!!!!!!!!!Mike
