I'm looking for a pic or two or three of the CN passenger terminal and office Tower in down town Edmonton. Anyone have a lead?

    Hi, Rick!

The older CN tower in Edmonton is no longer a passenger terminal, but it's still there. There is a new Via passenger terminal. If you like, I could stop by and take some pictures. What sort of details are you looking for?

I want to scratch build the old CN tower in N scale. Its basically a building in two parts, the high rise and the bottom part whatever you call it. If I could have all four views, especially the bottom part, that would be great.

If another building is attached to the side of the CN tower, I probably will leave it off. I want a more contemporary station for the layout, and I figured it would fit in nicely. So 4 views if it is possible, if not, anything would be great.

    Thanks

I'll get on that ASAP, Rick! It's usually not too often that I head into the city, but when I do, I'll be sure to take a few pictures.

Sorry for the late reply, but the pics would be great.

STILL haven't made it into the city...I'm really busy with 14 hour days at work, and trying to move as well. As soon as I can, I'll let you know. You might also want to talk to RockIslandMike, or Paul Davis (from The-Gauge). Perhaps they have more time.

    Lighthorse,
If I can have them in the next 3 to 5 months that will be great. I just laid one third of my layouts track, have to build a more difficult section of benchwork connecting my two decks, then track that. Building the CN tower is on my to do list, but I can wait. I have found one picture of it in a book, but I'm too cheap to buy the entire book for one picture.

Don't take lots of pics as I am not going to be scratch building it to absolute prototypical modelling. It strikes me as something easy to build and modern to boot.

Right now I am just in the final throws of finishing a scratch built modern Canadian Granary that will look great on the upper deck.
