I was wanting to know what companys have the best n scale brass selections.. if they have a website can you please post it..
As far as retailers - Des Plaines Hobbies in Des Plaines IL have about the biggest selection of N brass I have seen, from Hallmark,Key and Overland. Prices start around $150 and up. Overland in Muncie IN is a major supplier of brass models.
I can add two more. The larger of the two is Caboose Hobbies in Denver (www.caboosehobbies.com), and secondly, N Scale Supply also in Denver. (www.nscalesupply.com)
Try Esther's Hobby in Pittsburgh. They have a great selection of brass from Overland and Key in N-Scale Esther's Hobby Shop
Another source of N scale brass here in Colorado (and over here on the Western Slope) isLobo Mountain Trains- they have both locomotives and rolling stock in brass. I can attest to Caboose Hobbiesin Denver- their selection is awesome.
Also recommended are Rio Grande Hobbies http://4nscale.com *********** TexNRails http://texnrails.com *********** Peach Creek Shops http://www.peachcreekshops.com/ *********** Brooklyn Locomotive Works http://blwnscale.com *********** eNjoy Don B
I will add that Rio Grande, and BLW have great service. BLW does take about 1-2 weeks to answer e mails, but they are prompt and very helpful on the phone (they even opened a box for me to check if directions were only in Japanese!).
