I am looking to create a logo based on the SP herald/logo. My layout is called the Southern Pacific in the Inland Empire and I was thinking of keeping the "Southern Pacific" in the outer rim but have "IE" in the center. Thought, suggestions, and resources are all welcome.
I like the one above a lot. Like it in the blue but would like to see it in the red also. The tracks and sun really draw you to the INLAND EMPIRE. Sumner
Same here. I was thinking of having "Inland Empire" in the outside ring and a simple "SP" in the middle. I'll keep playing with it. Maybe black and red with the yellow sunset.
I'm not sure where it would fit in, but a silhouette of a Joshua tree might look pretty cool to regionalize it? -Mike
Like it, very dramatic. Are the logos going on Locos and cars? If so what color are the locos? Traditional Southern Pacific colors? Sumner
The logo will primarily be for social media, but I could use it for signage. I could also make decals and add them here and there. Maybe on the box below the loco number on the cab. Otherwise I will use SP power and traditional colors.
