speaking of beacons, does anyone recognize the beacon on this loco? I've been trying to figure this one out. It is taller than the sunrise but also the orange section of the beacon extends past the bottom so you can drill a hole into the top of the cab and attempt to get the thing to light up. Any ideas? Someone mentioned Deluxe but now thanks to some posts in this thread I know this is not right. The same person also mentioned Red Caboose, did they ever make beacons?

I actually really like this one and wish I could find more. The sunrise is really nice too but sometimes I think they are a little short. Just my opinion.

    Detail parts

I'd like to second the cab signal boxes and sinclair antennas although BLMA has both on the to do list they tell me. Also some bells for diesel units like Sunrise used to make.

Greg, does it have three small 'legs' equally spaced around the base? If so, it's the Loco-Motives beacon moulded in clear orange and likeky has the base painted black.
The mould did come into the possession of DI from Loco-Motives but it was cracked and ultimately unrepairable.
The mould also included their other detail parts like their very fine all-weather window, cab shades and screened spark arrestors.
