Guys, I have a scratchbuilt MOW train that sports 30 cars!!!!!!! And yes I have many, many, MANY times seen a 5 years olds eyes when it goes by and the 3 cranes are as bright as possible and boy those little eyes light right up!!!!! Thats the joy of doing the shows!!!!!! And knowing me i'll be their till I am no longer around or till I can't get around on my own power!!!!!!!! [ 27 April 2001: Message edited by: 7600EM_1 ]
Graphite, I started building this train at the age of 8 or 9 years old and thats crazy because its like that real thing and I never once changed anything on it!!!!!! Its the "Pride and Joy" of my collection being that is all hand made, hand painted, and all custom stuff on every car to highlight it. And i'm still building and adding cars to this large and long train of 30 cars!!!!! I'll soon need 2, EL-5's (2-8-8-0's) to pull it and I also took a old junk 0-8-0 from TYCO that is known to be junk, and used it to look as if its actually pushing and all in all its a DUMMY..........Just along for the ride to look good and make a nice conversational piece at the shows!!!!!! I rebuilt the loco itself to have dirrectional lighting and got rid of that God awfull motor in the tender and used an old junk box car frame to make a frame for the tender.
