    I agree! I recently picked up a GP20, and it's a very nice unit.

I also hope that LL will start making DCC read units. It's one of the major reaons I have stayed out of DCC. If LL makes a comitment to it, so would I.

    I have 4 Sd-7's, 2 SW9's and 4 GP20's

I really like my GP20's and they are one my favorite locomotives.

Beauties! As an afficianado of weathering I must say that those are truly done right. I am going to use a LL GP-20 chassis on an Atlas RS-11 body shortly.

Don't count on LL doing the 38's, the body's wrong anyway. Now if they did the F40PH with the new drive, I'd be in HOG HEAVEN! [IMG]

    Hi hermanZgerman,

Warren, still fiddling with it. I do have the problem isolated to the nose, and am filing out the inside plastic so that the fit is much looser. Also I think the battery box/steps might be culprits too. I am going to glue the entire shell together and fabricate a connection.

I really like the model and now that I got it configured with the right couplers, I will hang in there. After all its only plastic and metal, right????
