This is a bit of a long shot but there are enough accumulators out there...

This month, Micro-Trains is doing a pair of weathered CP Rail boxcars. The most previous run of these cars was Runner Pack #32 from "way back" in October 2009.

If someone has these cars handy, can you check to see if the cars have exactly the same arrangement of lettering on both sides?

Why wouldn't they, you might ask? Because the first run of the car, in December 1995, had the Multimark and roadname reversed on the side of the car you can't see. That is, on one side, the multimark is on the left and the roadname is on the right, and on the other side, the roadname is on the left and the multimark is on the right.

I have, well, illustrated, this on a UMTRR webpage...

I will try to find out before "press time" of the December 2021 UMTRR whether the new Weathered Two Pack has "Fun With Multimarks" or not, but meanwhile, little help on the Runner Pack?

    Thanks!

    Hi George,

I have the runner pack and have confirmed that all 4 cars have the same kettering arrangement on both sides. Pictures are attached here.

    Sorry for the fat finger . . . "lettering", not "kettering" . . .
