    I'm still researching tank cars for my seventies era line.

    So far I've realized that places like fallen flags don't work for me because tank cars have private owners. Most of their pics are of specific roads.

    I discovered where the tank cars were on fallen flags. saw some pretty cool stuff too.

    A year or two ago, a friend sent me a couple of CDs. They were loaded with freight cars of the late 1960's, and on foward in time. Almost all were views he took. A few were from his associates.

    It's fascinating looking at these, to see what has come, and gone. During the 1960's there began quite an evolution in size, and design of tank cars.
