Anyone tackled putting lights in the Athearn SP caboose? The marker light on the roof seems a major challenge.
Here's a MT one with the top light, but the Athearns would work the same. (In fact I am getting one done now.)
Richmond Controls has lights for the SP Caboose or any caboose for that matter. http://www.richmondcontrols.com/
Dave MacKinnon did mine. He is with Details N Scale in Portland. Cost was around $50 installed. Works with Analog or DCC not to exceed 15 volts. When power is removed from the track, the light stays on, and then slowly fades off. Very realistic.
Jeff, Glad to see you've got your layout pictures up. I ran across the video I shot when I was at your place and was wondering how the progress was coming. John
Isn't that next run of Athearn bay window cabooses coming out this month? Any delays anyone heard about? Espee C50-7, C50-8 or so?
