Lighting Strip?

    Hi!

    Here's my "Gee I wish I had" request:

    How about a flexible strip that has a golden white surface mount LED and a surface mount resistor/capacitor every 1/2" or so? You could then cut the strip to length for the building or car you need to light. A moment with the soldering iron to attach the feeder wires, and voila!

    As proof how much we like lights, look at how fast the Kato passenger car white LED kits sold. Any vendors out there?

    have you looked at Electroluminescence (EL) Lighting kits from Miller Engineering?

    A friend and I are looking into these EL strips which can be purchased in rolls - cut to length - and powered.

    As I understand it, they come in various colors and are not expensive.
