Hey guys, I just wanted to see what y'all liked to use for lighting on your models. Comments welcome. I myself voted for surface mount LED's because A. they are much smaller and easier to work with and make look good than are the larger 3mm or so LED's, and B. They last years and years longer than your average incandescent lamp.
Yeah, but you don't have to light a Pine knot torch any more, Simon. We got those new fangled electrically lightid bulber thingys over here now, and they wont drip pine sap on the rails!
Watash, we're not that primitive. We do have candles and kerosene lamps over here. Who knows, by next year we might have those electically lighted bulber things. Stranger things are known to happen. LoL!!
I used incandescent for years[grain of wheat, christmas lights etc] but I am going to experiment with led's because they give of so little heat.
