I use spring loaded, center off, toggles on both LGB and Aristo switches. I can't recall ever using a constant voltage turnout machine on N scale or large scale layouts but there could be some out there.
Dave, Thanks for the information. I have an n scale layout on which I used Tortoise switch machines which are constant voltage.
