    Hello everyone, first time poster,:plaugh:

I have a LGB 21741 locomotive and I am not sure about the smoke, where to put in the oil or if there is an on off switch. I looked in the front and there is no switch like a Bachmann. I would be so happy if anyone could help,,,

    Thanks, Andy

Hi, welcome to train board, the G scale section. I myself am not very familiar with LGB locomotives and I'm not familiar with the locomotive part number. It may be more helpful if you could also describe the locomotive you have to get better help. Like do you have a 2-6-0 Mogul type steam locomotive which the smoke fluid would be be put down the smoke stack, about 7 - 8 droplets. Some of the switches were put inside the cab of the steam locomotives. Bachman hides thiers behind the boiler front. There are LGB G scale people on the board that could better assist you in your question than I can, give it a couple of days for a response.

Thanks for the reply, I am kinda new to all of this.
    I think it is a Spreewald 2-6-0.
    I hope that helps.....

Andy, I have a LGB locomotive, the Fluid should go into the stack (don't overfill it) my Locomotive has a 3 way switch (sound, smoke or smoke/sound), the switch should be inside the cab. Also LGB smoke Units can run without smoke fluid without doing damage. If your locomotive doesn't have sound it will probably be just a 2 way on/off switch. I hope this helps.
