I do not have photos of my only brass rolling stock- or maybe I should say "partially brass" rolling stock. I have a Quality Craft B&O wagontop boscar, and a Santa Fe 44-seat lightweight corrugated coach built with JnJ #45 etched brass sides. And unbuilt brass sides for passenger cars-- Baggage, lightweight corrugated John Grey sides Baggage, lightweight corrugated JnJ #20 Diner, lightweight corrugated JnJ #30 LunchCounter diner, lightweight corrugated JnJ #47 Sleeper, lightweight corrugated 10-3-2 Santa Fe “Blue” series, JnJ#35 Private car, wood “Mayflower” Western Railcraft #601. And I have brass Gold Medal shopping carts... and front porch iron kitbashed from etched brass fire escape for a model of my mother-in-law’s house in Hutchinson, Kansas. And last, but least, brass ladder stock used as ladder and railings on a WWII concrete water tower.
Cool, that looks like the old blimp base at Hitchcock, Texas. The concrete supports for the hanger doors are still there. I don't know what they are using the site for these days.
A Key SF mike that has sat inoperable in its box for years has been returned to home terminal after Jason's repairs, and now runs sooo sweet. Kato GS4 conversion ATSF 3772 also arrived to join her sister. The way the inbound track is filling up, the bridge and building gang had better get some facilities finished!!
A few pieces of my collection. OMI Westinghouse/Schnabel OMI GP60's Gotta find additional photos now!
A batch of OMI Milwaukee Road cabooses, both styles they'd offered, sitting on my workbench a couple of weeks ago. Used to have more but have sold off a few here and there, over the years. Boxcab E50
Only wish OMI would have done all 3 DRGW numbers! I had to renumber one of my units! Weather 'em and run 'em! They actually run good! Better than what I had expeted when I got them. I ran mine for some time, on the DANS club set up during the N Scale Collector conventin in Denver back in 2006. Have a DRGW Ace and an SSW Bicentennial SD45T-2, also OMI. But neither have been run! And probably will NOT be run. The DRGW unit is #28 of 75. The SSW is #33 OF 50. Gotta get photos of the other units now.
I also have one of the SSW Bi-Centennials, and it took ALOT of break in running for it to run decent. Had some kind of binding it seemed that finally worked itself out. Beautiful unit though.
