    HI BOB:
Don't know if you use cordless phone throttle adapter but, if yes, what brand/model of cordless phone do you prefer? There's sure a lot of differing opinions. Won't use tethered throttle on main, on new a-t-r layout[just at yard].
Ran clinic at local train show in '04; had XPA set up with old BellSouth phone my son gave me. Brand new battery went almost dead during clinic and would not recharge, so phone went in nearest trashcan and yours truly had 'egg on face'!
Want to buy a GOOD, dependable phone this time! TTFN....Old Tom aka papasmurf in NH

    Tom:

I bought a Radio Shack cordless phone 920mgh for $9.99.

It works nicely. If you keep the phone in the charger, it won't lose power.

Make sure you get an old 920 mgh cordless phone. You don't need a phone with more power .

I think Bob meant 900 MHz.
